Acting Sustainably: Engelmann Customers Receive Awards Once Again

Since 2025, we have been sending awards to our top recyclers for sustainable practices as part of our recycling program. This year, once again, numerous packages were sent out. Nearly 20 customers were delighted to receive such an award. To qualify for this award, customers had to return at least 1,000 recyclable devices during the past Engelmann fiscal year. As in the previous year, the cutoff date was April 1.

Making Sustainability Measurable

Through the Engelmann recycling program, we save approximately 6.0 kg of CO₂ per returned device that would otherwise have been emitted during the production of a new unit. This figure is certified by Climate Partner. To date, we have received more than 150,000 devices back (as of July 2026), and the number continues to grow. We also regularly share clear comparisons there that put these CO₂ savings into perspective.

High-quality execution, even with the certificate

We also prioritize sustainability in the design of the awards. We have them printed on FSC-certified paper and present them in a high-quality wooden frame. The response from participating customers shows that the recycling program is making a difference in their daily lives:
