The Feira Nacional de Saneamento e Meio Ambiente – Fenasan and the Encontro Técnico AESabesp together form the largest event for environmental sanitation and water management in the Americas. The event is organised by AESabesp – Associação dos Engenheiros da Sabesp. Admission to the exhibition is free of charge. Key topics include waste management, recycling, municipal cleaning services, urban water and sanitation infrastructure, as well as sustainable energy generation. Together, the two events offer extensive networking and business development opportunities for the more than 37,000 visitors expected to attend.
In line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and ESG principles, the 2026 edition will further expand the dialogue on environmental sanitation, water and wastewater management, environmental protection and sustainability, while promoting the exchange of highly specialised knowledge.
The event brings together recognised experts and professionals, including engineers, chemists, biologists, technicians, researchers, students, managers and entrepreneurs working in environmental sanitation and the water sector. It also addresses anyone interested in advancing engineering applications and technological innovations within the industry. Participants include congress delegates, trade fair visitors and leading companies from across the entire water and wastewater value chain, including manufacturers, distributors and service providers.
In addition to serving as a platform for business contacts and networking, the event aims to promote and showcase technological developments in the water and wastewater sector, as well as products and solutions for water treatment, water transmission and supply, wastewater collection and treatment, drainage, waste disposal and other areas of environmental sanitation and water management.
