The Engelmann WATERSTAR® is a water meter suitable for housing associations, real estate management and companies working in the field of facility services.

Our WATERSTAR® water meter is characterized by its flat and compact design. It is compatible with all 2” EAS metering points. Our electronic water meter is based on the precision and durable design of the proven SENSOSTAR®2 technology. This technology uses electronic impeller scanning to accurately and reliably measure the amount of water consumption.

With its precision, long-term stability and reliability WATERSTAR® is especially suitable for use in apartment houses as well as office and administration buildings where exact data and the electronic storage of cumulated measuring results are essential for accurate and precise consumption-based billing.

A special characteristic of our WATERSTAR® is its very low flow threshold of 3 l/h. Even small leak flow amounts, caused by dripping faucets or faulty flushing systems, are easily recognized and measured.

Engelmann WATERSTAR® is available for cold water use (with blue Engelmann pushbutton) and hot water use (with red Engelmann pushbutton), both with nominal flow sizes of 1.6 m3/h and 2.5 m3/h.

The WATERSTAR® is standardly equipped with a 3V lithium battery to provide a 10-year lifetime. In addition to the standard display which shows the amount of water consumed, statistics and maintenance data can be accessed and recalled via the display at all times. A reading of the 16 monthly values can be taken directly from the display. 18 monthly values can be read out using the optical interface or M-bus. The Engelmann® Monitor software lets you read out the meter data on a PC.

The large, easy-to-read display of WATERSTAR® can be rotated 360° for optimal positioning to ensure comfortable read-out. Installation is also uncomplicated: for in-wall flush mounting standard rosettes with an inner diameter of 59 mm can be used.
