The SENSOSTAR®2C calculator can be programmed for pulse values ranging from 1 litre per pulse to 1,000 litres per pulse, making it suitable even for large heating systems and for measuring volumes of heat in district heat supply. For example, the volumes of heat and cold at a large passenger airport in the Middle East are counted using our SENSOSTAR®2C calculator.
The calculator’s LCD display shows the volumes of heat and, if desired, of cold, currently being consumed. Flow rate, heat output, cumulated outputs, error codes, monthly values, max. values and other parameters can also be retrieved. The device is powered by an easily replaceable battery. The E2PROM read-only memory means data is not lost when the battery is changed. An external 230 V power supply or a supply via an M-bus system are other options.
The SENSOSTAR®2C calculator is combined with PT500 temperature sensors which automatically detect 2- or 4-conductor technology. It can be connected to all conventional volume-measurement components of varying flow rates and pulse values. Here too, we offer equipment variants, with an M-bus interface, or two pulse outputs (for volume and power) (without M-bus supply) or M-bus supply and two pulse inputs for two other external meters to be connected (e.g., cold-water meters, hot-water meters, electricity meters, heat meters, …), as well as the data logger.

The SENSOSTAR®2C US is making it suitable even for large heating systems and for measuring volumes of heat in district heat supply. In the SENSOSTAR®2C US, the ultrasound volume-measurement part is joined to the calculator. The components are connected via a cable up to 5 m long.
